The Story of the Taro: Learning about Ritual from Hawaiian Elders

Earlier this Spring, the Ecological Belonging Innovation Fellows had the opportunity to learn from Hawaiian elder Papalii Dr. Tusi Avegalio. Amongst many thoughts and reflections on ritual, he shared a story on the role of intergenerational wisdom of the land and the improtance of the Taro plant in Hawaiian culture.
